Biden’s celeb-studded mega-fundraiser interrupted by pro-Palestinian activists

A high-end fundraiser for President Joe Biden in New York City Thursday night was disrupted multiple times by anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian activists both inside and outside the event.

Activists assembled outside Radio City Music Hall on Sixth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan and clashed with the New York City Police Department (NYPD), and were filmed by independent journalist Brendan Gutenschwager chanting "down with the USA."

They also heckled Democrat donors who shelled out thousands of dollars to attend the event which included a panel with Biden, former President Barack Obama, and former President Bill Clinton moderated by Stephen Colbert.

Over 5,000 people attended the star-studded event featuring celebrity guests including Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, Lea Michele, Sean Hayes, Mindy Kaling, Jason Bateman, and Will Arnett. Democrats boasted on social media that the event raised $25 million.

Organizers charged a minimum of $250 to attend the event and up to $500,000 for an exclusive reception. Attendees could get a photo with Biden, Obama, and Clinton taken by photographer Annie Leibovitz for $100,000 a pop.
